Driver’s Ed – The driver’s ed information packets are now available in the Guidance office. Sign up for the class will be in May.
Practice is required to sit for the EOC.EOC FSA review sessions for Algebra 1 and Geometry will take place on Tuesday (TODAY) and Thursday this week, after school until 4:00 in Mr. Knutson’s room 4-203 for Algebra and in Mrs. Beebe’s room 4-201 for geometry.
Attention Juniors who are enrolled in US History - Review sessions are being offered on the following dates: Today, April 17th 3-4pm with Mr. Norvell, Thursday, April 19th 3-4 with Mrs. LeBlanc, April 24th with Mr. Norvell from 3-5, and April 26 with Mrs. LeBlanc from 3-5. Please see your teacher to sign up.
Attention Juniors: there will be a junior class meeting tomorrow, at the beginning of 5th period. All juniors will report to the auditorium for the first half of 5th period. Any questions, see Ms. Morgan in activities.
Biology End--of-Course Exam Review will be Monday and Wednesday after school until 4pm in 7-112. Come have fun and get ready for the big test!
Seniors! Your final senior class meeting will be held tomorrow, starting second period in the auditorium. This is mandatory meeting. Plan now to attend. Any questions or conflicts, see Ms. Morgan in activities.
There will be a JOB FAIR for graduating seniors Apr 23rd from 6 – 8pm at Atlantic H.S. auditorium and on Apr 26th from 6 – 8pm at University H.S. auditorium. Get a chance to meet with local businesses looking to hire you. Learn about apprenticeship and how CareerSource Flagler Volusia can help you navigate your career. There will be raffles and giveaways, first drawing at 6pm. Don’t forget to dress for success and bring multiple copies of your resume.
Attention – Education Scholarship available! Any senior planning on majoring in education should see Mr. Austin as soon as possible to be considered for the PDK scholarship. Other scholarships are also still available – applications are in Student Services. Deadlines are coming so don’t wait!

All football players participating in spring football must attend a meeting at lunch today in the Large Conference Room.
All girls trying out for volleyball: Remember your camp deposit is due no later than this Friday, April 20th !! Reserve your spot before you miss out.

Attention Key Club Seniors. The Kiwanis Club of Ormond Beach is offering a Key Club Scholarship to a deserving graduating senior. Applications are available in Mr. Goldstone’s room, 3-204. To be eligible, you must currently be a member of Key Club. Applications are due Monday, April 23rd.
Attention Seniors and Juniors! Prom Tickets are now available to purchase on LINE (OSP-Online School Purchasing), or from Mrs. Campanella in 6-105. Tickets are $40 each. If you purchased your ticket on line, you MUST bring a copy of the receipt to Mrs. Campanella’s room to pick up the actual hand copy ticket/invitation. Seniors ONLY may invite a non-Seabreeze guest to prom. Prom permission forms can be picked up from Mrs. Dahms in Students Resources. The deadline to turn in prom guest forms is tomorrow. The deadline to purchase prom tickets is Friday. Tickets WILL NOT be sold the day of prom.
Attention anyone interested in participating in a school talent show, there will be tryouts this Thursday April 19th at lunch in the auditorium. The talent show will be on May 25th in the auditorium with all proceeds going to the Halifax Humane Society. The top 3 winners of the talent show will be given prizes. If you are interested in signing up for this Thursday’s auditions please stop by Mr. Bailey’s classroom 4-204 before Thursday at lunch to give your name and what your talent will be for the audition.
Seabreeze Italian American club will be meeting on Thursday the first half of lunch. Please be on time.
“BE” Campaign. Reminding everyone to Be Aware, Be Kind, and Be the Face of Good. There were no winners in the scavenger hunt on Monday. The object on campus in a common area and is in plain sight. To determine the object, the following clues must be used: •Although each year I can face challenges that weaken me, with care and attention, I recover and my future is bright red. • I am beautiful, I am special, and I take pride in being different from others. •I take what I need, but always give more than I take. • I follow a pattern, but I stand out in a circle. •To let you know if you are on the right track the answer is one word, 10 letters. The first 10 people to give the correct answer to the main office will win a $5 Chick-Fil-A gift card. Good Luck! Today, will promote BE KIND, tomorrow, promotes BE the Face of Good with voter registration events, and Thursday will culminate with a Panoramic photo of our students and staff wearing the “BE” Campaign shirts. The shirts will be available for a $5 donation in Room 6-105. The donation will be used to support our fellow students. Come get yours today!
In honor of National ASL Day and Deaf Awareness Month, we’d like to share some facts and information about American Sign Language and the Deaf community. In the United States, ASL is the 3rd most commonly used language. ASL is used by Deaf people in the United States and Canada.
