Attention students & staff: You are all invited to participate in our Seabreeze High School Wellness Plan by registering for the Volusia County Turtle Trek 5K in Ponce Inlet on Saturday March 3rd. You can run, walk or move like a turtle, just finish the 5K or 3.1miles across the finish line.  Students may pick up a copy of this Registration form in the mail office, Ms. Ingram's Room: 6-206 or Ms. Bosco's Room 7-209.  Pre-Registration before February 23rd is only $25. On the day of the race, Saturday March 3, 2018, it is $30.  Students are invited to stay after the 5K to do a beach-clean-up in order to earn Volunteer Service hours for their Bright Futures Scholarship. Seniors – there will be a senior class meeting during 4th period on Friday in the auditorium.  Please make every effort to attend.  You will be released by announcement from 4th period. 


MPG Studios will be on campus for Senior Cap & Gown pictures  this Thursday (2/22/18). Appointments can be made with Ms. Coy in 2-211. Cap, gown and tassel provided by MPG.


Seniors – the Grad Bash deadline will be here before you know it!  If you’re interested in attending Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure – two theme parks for the price of one, stop by the activities office for the permission forms and to pay.



On Saturday, Seabreeze had an excellent showing at the District Wrestling Tournament.  Missing 3rd Place as a team by only 5 points, the Seabreeze wrestlers secured a 4th Place team finish out of 9 teams.  The following wrestlers qualified for the Regional Wrestling Championships to be held at Brandan High School this Friday and Saturday.  District Champion (1st Place) 220 lbs. Braden “Bull” Buswell easily pinned all 3 opponents.  120 lbs. Kobe Baert and 182 lbs. Victor Lipsey wrestled their way to the finals for 2nd Place finishes. 132 lbs. Taylor Sturgeon and 285 lbs. Akarri Davis fought their way to a 3rd Place finish.  126 lbs. Grant Schwartz despite an injury managed to capture 4th Place.  Great Job Seabreeze Wrestlers!


Congratulations to the boys soccer team on their 4 – 1 State Semi-Finals WIN over Arnold H.S. this past Saturday night.  The Seabreeze boys soccer team will play for a “repeat” for a State Soccer Championship this Saturday, at Spec Martin Stadium in Deland at 4pm. The Sandcrabs take on the American Heritage Patriots.  FHSAA advanced admission:  $9.00 – at the gate $12.00.  Best of luck and Go Sandcrabs!


JV Girls Soccer: this is a reminder to send your RSVP to Coach Gion for your banquet this Sunday. Please do so as soon as possible, and remember your uniform is to be returned at the banquet.


The girls tennis team will be hosting a bake sale on Thursday during crab break in front of the main office. Be sure to support the team while enjoying a treat! Also, the girls have three home matches this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday right after school on the school courts. Come out to support your team!
