Attention college bound students – TODAY, September 19th,   is the College and Career expo.  It will take place at Mainland High School from 5:30 to 7:30pm – it’s a great opportunity for students to meet with college and career representatives.   That’s today at Mainland High School at 5:30pm – please speak with your counselor if you have any questions.


Attention Juniors and Seniors – on Thursday, September 21, a representative from the University of Florida will be here at Seabreeze at 1:00pm to meet with interested students.  If you would like to meet to find out about the application process and more about UF you must come to Student Services and sign up to receive a pass to attend the  meeting.   The sign-up sheet is with Ms. Smith in Student Services.  You must sign up in advance to receive a pass to attend the meeting.



Seniors remember to purchase your 2018 ad today.  See Ms. Coy in 2-211 or visit for all your ad information. The deadline for senior ads is October 12, 2017.  All pictures and information must be turned in by this date.  Do not turn in any irreplaceable or one of a kind pictures. 


Any senior that would like a baby picture in the yearbook please bring it to Ms. Coy, in 2-211 as soon as possible, spots fill up quickly and are on a first come, first serve basis. Write your name in pen on the back of the picture & do not turn in any one of a kind pictures.



There will be Fall baseball tryouts for any students interested in playing, today, 3:45 at the Ormond Sports Complex.


All Seabreeze males interested in playing tennis for the boys tennis team need to meet in Coach Holtgrewe's room, 2-127, Thursday, 9/21/17. All need to attend and please be prompt!


Congratulations to the JV Volleyball team for their 2 set win over the FPC Bulldogs last night.    Dominating the serving game was freshman Haley Nirschl and sophomore Sydney Jackson.  Great job, ladies!  Come out and support the lady Sandcrabs as we take on Pine Ridge tonight, 5 and 6:00 in our gym.  Admission is $5.  If you purchased an athletic pass, you must have the “stadium icon” picture on your school ID. Present your School Athletic ID at the ticket table for FREE admission



School sponsored BLOOD DRIVE: Seabreeze Allied Health will be hosting our first blood drive of the year on Monday, September 25th.  Signup in front of the main office anytime during lunch on Wed, Thu or Friday.  All are welcomed and encouraged to donate.  17 years and up, 16 with a signed parent/guardian permission form.  Give the Gift of Life!!!


Attention Center Stage:  If you want to buy a club t-shirt, be sure to see Mr. Mirabile in 14-121 or order your shirt on the Seabreeze Web Store.  All orders must be in by the end of this week.  Cost of club membership and t-shirt is only $15.00. Don’t delay, and make sure you have your order in by Friday!    


HOMECOMING FESTIVITIES!  Students, the 2017 Homecoming Week starts Monday, July 25th.  Your CRAZY, OUTRAGOUS Dress Up Days will be announced tomorrow to allow you time to pull together the greatest outfits ever!  Dress to Impress!!!  Tickets for the dance will go on sale starting tomorrow through Friday, September 29. Tickets are $25.  There are 2 ways to purchase a ticket 1) WEBSTORE, Online School Payment (OSP) or 2) 6-105 Mrs. Campanella’s room.  Reminder…if you purchase your ticket on line, you must stop by 6-105 with your receipt, and pick up the “actual dance ticket.”  This year’s dance will take place Saturday night from 8:30 – 11:30 at Harley J’s at the Daytona International Speedway.  Fun for everyone!  Dancing, game room and theater.  Seniors only may invite a non-SHS guest to the dance.  Permission forms are required and can be picked up from Mrs. Goodner in Students Resources.  The annual evening Pep Rally is next Thu, in the Gym.  Everyone is invited, parents, family and friends.  Your homecoming court will be  announced this afternoon, with the crowning of your 2017 Homecoming King and Queen announced during the half time show next Friday night.  For more information,  including pictures of Harley J’s and map of where to park at Speedway visit the school’s website. 


Project 396 will be meeting today in 7-112 during lunch. Grab your lunch and join us for the first or second half of lunch as we talk about the Fall Campout. All are welcome!


Attention National Honor Society members: your first meeting will be this Wednesday, during lunch in the large conference room. Attendance is mandatory.


Sunsations will be having our first practice tomorrow after school from 2:00-4:00, in the dance room, room 14-109, it is not too late to join! Please see Mrs. Parnell in the main office for more information. Can’t wait to see you all there!
