GENERAL INFO

The Seabreeze Sprint -or- Stroll will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The course features an out and back 3 mile route, with the start and finish lines located at the Seabreeze High School track, home of the Sandcrabs, the best school & family in Volusia County.  Can't make it to the event? The funds raised from this awesome event will be donated in the name of Isaac Phillips to the Ronald McDonald House in Gainesville, where Isaac's parents have stayed during his visits to Shands Hospital.

DATE, LOCATION & TIME

The Seabreeze Sprint -or- Stroll is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2009.
Run Start: 1:30 - 3:30.

The start line will be located on the track at the south end of the school.
The race will end at the track on the track’s finish line (north end).
Parking will be located in the front visitor lot and the southeast access road.
Participants and spectators will have access to REAL bathrooms, not port-o-potties.

AGE GROUPS AND AWARDS

This event has been planned and promoted to create an opportunity for the Seabreeze family to come out and support another family member. This event is not for the avid runner trying to improve personal times. We apologize, but there will not be age groups or awards for this event.  You will however, gain the feeling of accomplishment and philanthropy for your participation in this event.

WEATHER

The average weather historically on December in Daytona Beach is a high of 75 degrees and a low of 58. The race starts at noon., which should provide comfortable running conditions for a December run/walk in Central Florida.
