On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I want to welcome you to Seabreeze High School!  It is a privilege and a pleasure to serve all of our parents, #1 SANDCRAB STUDENTS, and community members.  I am excited and honored to be your Principal!

The Seabreeze High School faculty and staff are very excited about the various opportunities and challenges the school year will bring.   Once again Seabreeze High School received the honor “Best High Schools” from the U.S. News and World Report ranking for 2020.

We, as a TEAM, are committed to continuous improvement as we strive to provide an exemplary educational experience for all of our students.  As part of that promise we offer Academy programs and a wide range of AP course selections to provide students with opportunities beyond their core curricular experiences.  In addition, we are a Cambridge International School offering our students the opportunity to work towards an AICE diploma from the prestigious Cambridge program.  We take additional pride in the fact that we are an AVID school as well.

Due to COVID-19 our orientations this year are done virtually.  In addition, whether you are attending Seabreeze on campus or taking advantage of Volusia Live, we are committed to providing our entire Seabreeze Family of students and families the best experience possible!  Please keep in mind that when you visit our campus the expectation before you enter school grounds is to have your temperature checked and wear facial coverings (mask, shield, etc.) to help keep everyone safe.

Throughout the school year I encourage you to visit www.seabreezehigh.org and check out our events on the school calendar.  It will help keep you abreast of all activities that occur on our campus and assist with your involvement at Seabreeze.  Additionally, you can receive the most up to date information regarding whatever changes may be occurring due to the pandemic.

In closing, I welcome you to our Seabreeze High School family and encourage you to be active partners with your child(ren) and school during their high school years.  Parental involvement is the key to success for all!

Professionally yours,

Joe Rawlings
