BOOKROOM PROCEDURES

The bookroom will open on Tuesday, August 8, for any students who did not check out their books at orientation.  The bookroom will be open each day at lunch for individual students to come in and checkout class books.  Any student who has books checked out from last year should turn them in this week.  Please bring your ID with you to the bookroom. Here is a breakdown of the textbook checkout process:

  • ALL STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING OUT AND RETURNING THEIR OWN TEXTBOOKS
  • All textbooks have been bar-coded and scanned before the students begin school
  • Each student has his/her own textbook account
  • The student ID has a bar-code which is scanned to pull up the students account
  • Therefore, all books borrowed by the students will directly appear on the student’ s account
  • The only way to remove a book from the account is to turn it in at the bookroom and have it scanned
  • When books are not turned in, they must be paid for by the student
  • Damaged books will also result in a penalty payment
  • Textbook obligations must be cleared at the end of each semester

If you need to contact the bookroom, please email Mrs. Vance or call 258-4674 ext.54633
