The School District of Volusia County is accepting applications from families for free - and reduced - price meals for their children attending schools.  Only one application is needed per household.

Senior, junior and sophomore students providing they meet criteria, are allowed to leave campus for lunch.


SENIORS & JUNIORS: must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA, have no excessive absences, discipline referrals or obligations.

SOPHOMORES: must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA, have no excessive absences, discipline referrals or obligations.  Sophomores are allowed to leave campus to walk to McDonalds Sophomores are not allowed to be in a vehicle during lunch.

Students who do not meet this criterion will not be permitted to leave campus until they have shown improvement in the identified area(s). Students who accumulate an excessive number of absences/tardies after lunch may lose their lunch privileges!

*Parents who do not wish for their 10th-12th grade student to leave campus, must contact the Discipline Office at 258-4674 ext. 54528 and have their student taken off the Off-Campus list.

 FRESHMEN ARE NOT PERMITTED OFF CAMPUS FOR LUNCH.

 

ID CARDS

Seabreeze High School students are required to carry their I.D. card at all times.  This card identifies you as a Seabreeze student.  The I.D. card will be required for textbook distribution, school functions, ticket purchases, student discounts, etc.  Every student will need to purchase a new I.D. card at the cost of $5.00 *(Replacement ID cards are $5.00).

I.D.s ARE REQUIRED

Students are required to have their student identification card when on campus or attending off-campus school sponsored events. Students will be required to present their ID when attending extracurricular activities, field studies, checking out books, purchasing food in the school cafeteria and when leaving campus for lunch. Students are also required to present their ID card when requested to do so by any member of the Seabreeze High School staff.

LOCKERS

Students who rent a school locker must use the combination lock provided by the school.  The condition of the locker and the combination lock is the responsibility of the student renter.  If you loose your combination lock there will be a replacement charge of $5.00.  If you locker becomes jammed shut, please report the locker number and location immediately to Ms. Morgan in the Activities Office.  DO NOT attempt to wedge it open.  Remember, you are responsible for the condition of your locker. Sharing your locker is not allowed. 

Parking/Drivers Education

Parking on campus is a privilege and only qualified seniors and juniors with a GPA of 2.5 or higher can park.  The cost is $35.  Parking will be obtained at Orientation on your student’s designated day by the student only. If a student had excessive absences or discipline issues the previous school year, they cannot purchase parking. The parking form below must be filled out with all the correct information and include a parent’s signature. Please read the reverse side of the form to understand what is expected of the student who is parking on campus.

Future Drivers: For those of you not yet able to drive, please visit this Florida DMV website  for more information on your Learner's Permit and Driver's Permit requirements. There are also links for new drivers trying to obtain a license on our Guidance Resource page. When you have obtained your valid Driver's License, please visit this area again to obtain a parking pass.
