Daytona Beach Sail and Power Squadron partnered with Volusia County’s Digital Media/Multimedia Program to offer high school students an event poster contest. In support of National Safe Boating Week, May 20-26, 2017, high school students in the Digital Media/Multimedia program were offered the opportunity to participate in a Safe Boating Week Poster Contest during March and April. Students competed for first, second, and third places, as well as, most creative, most technical and most artistic with posters featuring the themes of: boater safety and wear your life jackets.

3rd Place: Brianna Allen, 10th Grade, Seabreeze High

Selected posters will be displayed in various venues during May in support of National Safe Boating Week and submitted for national boating publications.

Awards will be personally presented to students by Daytona Beach Sail and Power Squadron representatives  tomorrow, April 26 at Seabreeze and Deltona high schools.
